Statements on German grid study

Please find below information distributed recently by the World Wind Energy Association:

You may have heard of the German grid study "Planning of the Grid Integration of Wind Energy in Germany Onshore and Offshore up to the Year 2020" which is a result of long and intensive discussions between the German wind industry and the conventional German electric power sector, conducted by the German energy agency Dena.

The document will certainly also be relevant for discussions in further countries. Therefore we would like to inform you that an English translation of the summary has now been published and can be downloaded from: here (493 kB)
