Get Arrested in Denton, TX and See Your Mugshot on Twitter

I actually think this is a great idea!  I have not done any research on how this came about, but the Denton, TX Police Department has a Twitter account that posts the mugshot of everybody they arrest.  Apparently the page was created by a non-police officer, but they have to have cooperation from the Police Department in order to get the photos.

Using the popular photo sharing Twitter application, TwitPic, each “tweet” consists of the mugshot, the age of the person and why they were arrested.  In my opinion, the only thing missing is their name!
