AP: Obama’s Aunt Found Living In U.S. Illegally

And the hits just keep on coming for Barack Obama.

The Associated Press is reporting that Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama’s aunt, is living in Boston, MA illegally.  She was ordered to leave the country four years ago, but instead moved into Boston public housing.

Great example.

Great example of what? Your xenophobia? Your lack of basic reasoning skills?

Obama had no knowledge of his aunt’s status and took no measures in helping her stay in the country illegally. Is this man to be held accountable for everything that those around him do? Boy, the GOP would sure be in trouble if we were to use this standard.

Keep grasping at those straws. Every single candidate you have sided with in this election has slowly dropped out of the race, and I look forward to when McCain does the same. You sure know how to pick those winners!

In the meantime, it is amusing to watch as you declare yourself the arbiter of all things “American,” when it’s obvious that you’re completely out of touch with mainstream America. Get with the program and stop mindlessly accepting all of the lies and smears your party proffers.

@ Nemo: Great comment Nemo. First off, it’s cool to not use your real name. People know who I am, and I don’t feel the need to hide behind a username.

With that said, I don’t support candidates just because they’ve got a good chance to win. If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything. I support people that I can relate to their policies and views.

Obama’s illegal Aunt is a very valid point. He claims to be the savior for the lower class people. Raking in as much money as he as over the past few years, he could easily help his entire family, both in the U.S. and abroad. I mean it’s patriotic to spread the wealth, right?

Anyways, thanks for reading, and thanks for commenting!

Would it really make a difference if you knew who this was? Would that change the substance of what I’m saying? I’ll give you a hint: I knew you in your more formative years. I stand for every single person you have ever offended with your racist and ignorant comments then and now. You may not remember them, but I remember vividly. It’s really no surprise to me that you turned out the way you did.

That you are principled says nothing about whether your principles are valid. Hell, nazis and klan members are principled too but you don’t see anyone congratulating them for “standing for something.” I never said you choose candidates based on their chances of winning. My point is that you are so out of touch (i.e. outnumbered), that your extreme views always make you side with the least popular candidate. Think about it. Is it really that everyone else is a far left liberal nutcase? Or are you just so far right that the majority of the country appears this way?

How does this example illustrate anything about Obama’s policies for low-income people? This is a cheap ploy to instigate anti-immigration, anti-welfare sentiments. Obama barely even knew anyone on his father’s side (i.e. the aunt in this example).

Regarding the “spreading the wealth” comment…come on! Don’t be ridiculous. You do realize that “spreading the wealth” (GASP!) is the sole reason that taxes exist, right? There are certain things that require all of us to pitch in for, otherwise they won’t be provided. Public infrastructure, libraries, hospitals, schools, etc. are just a few examples. Rather than whining about putting in your share, shouldn’t you be focusing more on how the taxes are spent? Wouldn’t it be a shameful display if one of the richest countries in the world can’t even bother to take care of its least fortunate?

Ha! You’re laughable…Ed Cregger at 175 Joe Tike Drive, Ringgold, GA….give me one example of me being racist…

Oh, and you never knew me…

Great response Ed! You still haven’t given me that example of me being racist…and, you never did know me. That’s the difference between me and libs like you - I’ll give you examples of what I say. Even if I disagree with you, I can respect you when you speak intelligently - or have you ever?
