NEWSFLASH: Democratic Congress May Adjourn Amid Financial Crisis

In not so shocking news this morning, the do-nothing Democratic-led Congress has decided it may adjourn and just go home amid the financial turmoil on Wall Street.

Yesterday, Senate Majority leader, Harry Reid, said, “no one knows what to do.”

Great, let’s just call it a day and not worry about it.

The Democrats love to slam President Bush for our current situation, but they’ve had 19 months in Congress and haven’t done anything constructive.  They’ve accomplished less than any Congress in history, and they have a lower approval rating than the President.  Go Congress!

In related news earlier in the week, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi had another classic quote.  When referring to the current financial troubles, she said, “Don’t blame us!”

That’s a true snapshot of the current Democratic leadership’s thought process.  Instead of trying to help American’s they are stuck on playing the blame game and making sure their names are not tarnished.  Give me a break.  She’s the worst excuse for a public official I’ve ever seen.
