Looking at Someone’s Feet While I Eat

Although not an art fanatic, I support art and educating the public on different types of art. I think it’s great (to some extent) that Chattanooga is able to promote various pieces of art throughout our great city. There is a line to be drawn, however.

Take these two feet positioned directly in front of the patio at the Blue Plate restaurant at Ross’ Landing in downtown Chattanooga. Call me crazy, but I really do not want to be staring at someone else’s feet while I munch on my fish tacos from the Blue Plate!

By the way, great photo 4-8-4!

Hey, we agree on something! No, not necessarily the feet..

..but on the choice of fish tacos at Blue Plate. I have sampled very little else there, because I can’t make it past this menu item.

Art is subjective, and that’s why public art is so tricky. But compromise can be reached, as you suggest.
