Does anyone really listen to all this rhetoric?  I mean I hear it, but I just roll my eyes.  Obviously John McCain married into some serious money, but to hear one Senator call another Senator “rich and out of touch” seems a bit of a stretch to me.  Name one United States Senator that can relate to you and me in our current state of the economy.  With a base salary in 2006 of $165,000, every one of them is starting out a little ahead of me…ok, maybe a lot!  Give me a break.  McCain and Obama are both “rich.”  For Barak Obama to use that against John McCain is a slap in the face to the American people.

Barack Obama’s 2006 income was $991,000.  I’m not as stupid as you think I am Obama.
