What is Blu-Ray?
Many of you may not be aware of the new Blu-Ray technology as it made it’s debut just recently. Blu-Ray is the next generation optical disk format. It was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition (HD) video, as well as storing large amounts of data. The format offers five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs.

Will Blu-Ray play on my current DVD player?
It depends. Some companies have developed players that will play multiple format video. Other players do not. Check the owners manual of your player to see if it’s compatible with Blu-Ray discs.
